Background separation happens in your browser, on your own phone or computer. Your camera feed isn't sent anywhere to be processed.

Your original is always kept

autopodi records your normal camera and applies the studio when you export. That means you can change the background after recording, and the original is never lost. It never alters your face or body.

Graceful on slower devices

If your device struggles, autopodi protects the audio first, then your original video, and reduces the effect rather than ruining the recording.

Which plans include Virtual Studio?

Background blur is widely available; studio backgrounds, custom images and logos are included on higher plans. See the pricing page for details.

Does it work in Live mode?

You can preview it during Live conversations. Live calls currently save audio, so the visual effect is applied to video recorded in Standard mode.

Is my conversation public?

No. Everything you record is private to your account. Nothing is ever published automatically — you choose what to edit, export and share, and autopodi only features your clips in its marketing if you opt in, and you can delete a recording, a transcript or a whole conversation at any time.
