About

Standard vs Live

autopodi has two ways to talk. Both save your conversation the same way, so editing, clips and coaching work identically.

Standard

You speak, autopodi detects that you've finished, thinks for a moment and asks the next question in a natural voice. It's calm, structured and great for recording content, life stories and practice answers you want to score. It uses Standard minutes.

Live

Live is a real-time voice conversation. autopodi can react with brief acknowledgements while you talk, you can cut in mid-sentence and it stops and responds, and in tougher modes it may press you on a point you dodged. It feels closest to talking to a person. It uses Live minutes.

Which should I choose?

Choose Standard for polished content and focused practice. Choose Live when you want the feeling of a real back-and-forth — a hostile interview, a debate, or a relaxed chat in Friend Zone.

Frequently asked questions

Do Live conversations still become clips?

Yes. Live conversations are saved as normal questions and answers, so they can be edited and turned into clips just like Standard ones.

Why are Live minutes separate?

Real-time voice costs considerably more to run than turn-based conversation, so plans include a separate allowance rather than raising every price.

How much does it cost?

There's a free plan with monthly minutes so you can try it properly. Paid plans add more minutes, more Live (real-time) conversation and Virtual Studio features. Current prices are on the pricing page.
